Is it spring yet
« on: April 14, 2008, 05:32:54 AM »
Heading back to the family farm in S.W. Va. next month. Are the ground hogs out yet, are the bluegills making little beds? I haven't been home in the summer in a long time. I'll get the last week of spring turkey season also. Anybody out and messing around, what has the weather been like? Any surf fishing going on at the coast in N.C.
Looking forword to getting a tan! shooting some ground hogs and catching some bass.

Thanks

The Bream are not bedding yet. The crappie are and as soon as the Bream do the bass will. The crappie bed when the dogwoods flower and the Bream bed when we have the first full moon of April and the Bass bed when the Bream do. That's basically how it happens around here Most of the time.
