44 carbine factory repair?
« on: August 29, 2003, 03:19:30 AM »
anyone had the cast aluminum lip on the front of the 44 Rifle trigger assembly crack? Does Ruger repair or replace them? I heard Ruger only offers dealer cost on any new 44 rifle which is a high price even then.
thanks, Alan in ga.

alan in ga,
I returned a pistol to Ruger for a misaligned front sight. I first sent a letter indicating the problem, they responded with s shipping number (free of cost to me) and address and contact. I included the original letter in the box with the pistol and sent it off. I had the firearm within 4 weeks, problem corrected.
