Ontario Deer Hunting Outfitter
« on: September 21, 2008, 04:54:39 AM »
I am going over some Outfitters for a deer hunt for 3 of us.  We are looking for an in the bush hunt where we really have a chance at a 150 B&C if you hunt hard all day every day.  Does this exist?  Thought Canadian residents would tell me the truth.   Thanks  Buckfever

In ontario, I would look at outfitters in fort frances, dryden or thunder bay area. I don't think anyone will guarantee a good chance at a 150 class, at least not an honest outfitter... but the western part of the province has the manitoba strain of whitetail which are genetically bigger than the eastern deer to help survive the cold winters. My buddy had 80 acres near dryden, and he took a 170 on it last year.

I would be looking further to west including Alberta.
