Replacement barrel for M-1 Garand "Tanker"

Hi folks, I've been a guest visitor for sometime and have enjoyed the information presented on all of the sites.  I finally decided to join because I'm hoping someone here can help me find a replacement barrel for my "Tanker" Garand.  I bought this rifle when I was stationed at Camp Pendleton in 1968.
It has functioned great all these years.  For the first 30 yrs. it was holding 1-11/2" groups at 100 yds.
Lately that has grown to around 2-3".  I would prefer a barrel in 30.06 since I have several thousand rounds in that caliber but I would consider a .308 barrel.  Can anyone help with a source?  Thanks.

I believe Gun Parts Corporation (formerly Numrich Arms) in New York bought up all the M1 Tanker parts from Federal Ordnance and the few other companies that assembled the M1 "Tanker".  Try them online.

Springfield Armory also made the M1 "Tanker" and may still have some barrels.

Thanks John, but I've already checked with Numrich and Sarco. They both list them in their Garand parts section but show "Not Available or Out of Stock".  Springfield Armory made the "Tanker" for awhile but dropped it because they had problems getting it to function right.  They don't list the short barrel in their parts section either. I have considered  converting it back to the standard configuration.  I was hoping not to have to get the regular Garand parts needed to do that.

Thanks Tim.  I'll keep them in mind if I have to re-configure it. I've heard and read all the negative reports on the "Tankers" but I must have gotten one of the rare good ones.  In 1968 while at Pendleton, I got the chance to take it to Edson Range.  After a few sight in rounds, I was getting in the "5" ring at 200 yds.  It has a balance point just in front of the triggerguard that I can balance it on two fingers.  It comes up to my shoulder just right for me and the sights are on target.  I live in North Louisiana and a short powerful rifle is an almost must in these thick woods. (no swamps, thats down south) I know it has no real collectors value, but I'm not into collecting ( no $$$=police officer).  As I said earlier,  years ago it was a great shooter and that's all I'm looking for.
