Adding a rifle barrel
« on: February 05, 2008, 12:14:38 PM »
Just wondering if rifle barrels can be special ordered for the H&R Pardner Model 410.

I just picked up one of these little 410's for pest control around the house, red squirrels in the bird feeders, etc. and was looking at the list of barrels available to have mated up to your receiver when you send it to H&R.  Not interested in anything listed and was wondering if "maybe" a 7-30 Waters barrel could be ordered?
Anyone here done such a thing?

Please read the instructions at the top of the H&R acc barrrel page, rifle barrels can't be fitted to shotgun frames unless you have one of the rifle/shotgun combos that use a rifle frame. All  barrels available are listed, even some of those are discontinued, unfortunately even if you could have one fitted. They also won't fit anything to a frame made before 1987, see the FAQs and Help sticky for year of mfr info. The 7-30 would be a custom barrel made by your favorite gunsmith only, Wayne York just did one for a member here, he hasn't reported on it yet, keeping it a secret I guess!! ;D

Thanks Tim.

I am not real familiar with the frames on these guns, so I thought they may be similar to the way the TC's are!

Thanks for pointing that out to me.
