Factory Stocks and forends?
« on: February 14, 2008, 05:21:36 AM »
Hi...I'm new here. Just bought a Handi NEF 22-250. Can someone post any pics of the factory alternative stocks and for-ends? I see a ton of pics throughout the message board but don't know what I'm looking at. Thank you.     On another note...I can't seem to find my rifle on their web-page, or in any of their catalogs. It is a NEF model SB2-325. Serial number starts with NW. Any additional info you could pass on would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again.

On the 22-250, if it has a 20" barrel and you bought it from Dick's, it may be a special order Superlight from what I found on a search.

I did get it at Dick's, but the box says "Heavy Barrel" on it and it measures 22" long, .791" at the muzzle and 1.12" at the chamber. Not sure if it is considered a "Bull Barrel" or not. It came with a 6x24x50mm AO scope and a hard case. Looks like it has the standard monte carlo hardwood walnut stock. Thanks for the info and pics.

Must be another special order that Dick's made, sounds like a bull barrel contour which isn't offered except on the discontinued stainless 22-250.

Oh my...  now I have to go see if my Dick's is now carrying the Handi line.  They always have had the Rossis in there - but that's just not the same.  ;D
