Ammo For My Blackhawk .357 Magnum
« on: February 22, 2008, 02:33:40 PM »
I recently picked up a box (50 rounds) of Lellier & Bellot 10.25 158 grain ammo for my .357 Blackhawk at a gun show. I paid $19.25 plus tax. I've never heard of this brand before. Can anyone give me some info on it? Did I get a good deal?

It is cheap plinking ammo.  Higher than I would have paid for some.  Usually goes for about $15 or less.  With the price of ammo and brass going up, pick up some range brass and have a buddy load you some.  I can load a box (50) 357s for a couple of bucks.

It's fairly decent ammo. It tends to be dirty burning, and velocity/pressure can vary a good bit from lot to lot, but it's safe, and shoots good enough for general shooting.
