Yes, I've knocked one out with a punch and hammer, it's in there very tight, a press would make it a lot easier tho. If you remove it on a frame that has a barrel fitted to it, be sure to index it so it goes back in the same position, one member removed it and had to send it back to H&R for fitting cus the barrel it came with wouldn't fit after he reinstalled the pin! It has to be removed from the left side since the pin is splined on that side.
