23" - 223 bbl.

I have a 23" Contender bbl in 223.
What is the twist rate on the bbl?
I shot it today with:
Win. white box 45grn ( 1 1/4" at 100)
Hornady V-Max 60 grn ( 1 1/2 at 100)
Sierra 55 grn blitz king (2 1/2" at 100)
It seems to like the lighter bullets better.
12 power scope and no trigger mods on this frame.

It's a 1:12. You may find that 50-53 grain bullets will be the sweet spot for this barrel. That's been the case for me.

I agree with the lighter bullets. Mine loves 45gr V-Max's with a near max load of H-335.    KN

Seems a little inconclusive Coach. Only a small difference in group size between 45gr and 60gr really.
