Well, as bad as a lot of our media might be, I'm sure not going to depend on some Internet blog, or some foreign source for information about what's going on in the world. You just have to be a little skeptical, especially if there is a political angle to it. On straight up news, I believe our media is as good as any other. I don't take anything as gospel when it first debuts, but after it has time to stew for a little, something that is close to the facts usually boils to the top.

Maybe I'm naive, but I still believe there are some good journalists out there.

Not being a nomad living in a tent moving about , i would acess wheather or not moving on was in my best intrest . had it happened to my parents 50+ years ago i would do nothing and get on with life !
if it happened today to my home and all legal fixes were exhusted , like most i would move as anything else would lead to prison or death nither of which seem worth while

Gods original gift of land to Israel can be found in numbers, in the Bible, not the koran. There is a map in the back of our family Bible showing that gift. It is now being occupied by 5 Godless nations. Israel has never regained what was stolen from them by the romans. I well remember the 7 day war in 1967. Israel was attacked by 7 Godless nations at once. Instead of circling their wagons in fear, Israel attacked. I remember the before and after pics, thousands of enemy tanks destroyed. Israel cut through them like a hot knife through butter. Greatly outnumbered, Israel attacked and destroyed her enemies, because God was with them. Every single time the Godless ones mess with Israel, they get their butts soundly whipped. A normal thinking person would see that their mohamed just aint doing it for them. Not them thoughThey still persist in kicking the dog. In one of the battles of old God told Israel to totally destroy the enemy, but they let some live and even kept livestock. God told them that because they didn't obey his command that the descendents of those people would be forever a thorn in their side. I'd imagine the modern day palestinians are descendents, but I'm not sure. I don't know what more would convince you that the Israelites are Gods chosen ones, you plainly don't believe the Bible. You should at least look at Israels accomplishments. Israel thrives, while her Godless neighbors live in squalor. America hasn't fought her battles, Israel has. In the 7 day war 7 Godless nations used the best, top of the line tanks and weapons that Russia could supply. I remember the pics of the thousands of piles of twisted metal after Israel walked through them. How do you explain a victory like that if God wasn't with them??? I know none of this will change your mind because you are too full of hatred for them, but, they are Gods chosen ones, AND, the holocaust was real. POWDERMAN.

Magooch, the news reporters are mostly journalism majors and know nothing about anything but journalism. Go looking for articles about stuff that you know something about and see how many mistakes they make.

We have to get a wide variety of reports on what is going on, and some of those reporters are going to be bloggers, or posters in a forum like this one.

I beg to disagree ! I subscribe to the "Biblical; Archaeology Review"; the publication standard for those involved in archaeology in the Holy Lands.

Let's get up to speed..there has been strong evidence found of David's reign, and there is more evidence being found every day that for the
most part, reinforces the Biblical view ! A person either has to be historically and archaeologically blind to even DREAM of denying the Jewish history
that is so intertwined in that area for so many millennia.
There is a great struggle going on at this very time, over the more recent "giveaways" of the various "peace conferences" sponsored by other nations.
The Muslims now control the acreage of the Temple Mount..thanks to interfering "peacemakers". Since the Muslims are in charge there, they are busy
digging up the mount, trying to erase any of the ancient evidence of Jewish temples and occupation.
There is a blindness to their diligent attempts at erasure..they have to dump their fill in the valley of, I believe Hinom, ( I'll have to look it up ).

The honest archaeologists are searching through the loads dumped there and finding ancient artifacts that prove the ancient occupancy by the Jews.
With all the digging, there is danger to the "Wailing Wall"..a foundation wall of Solomon's Temple and the Temple reconstructed under Herod.
The Jews are disturbed, because this Wailing Wall is a very important site to them, and it is in danger of collapse. The Muslims are oblivious to Jewish
complaints about the destructive digging by the Arab "antiquities" gang on the platform above their wall.
Clever as the Muslims may think they are, they may well be operating at the REAL God's will. If the wall comes down..perhaps it will take that
"Dome of the Rock" down, paving the way for a third, and last Temple...

Remember folks, this struggle is between two religions, Judaism and the Johnny-come-lately, Muslim cult. The Muslims did not even exist before
Muhammad invented it in AD 620.
As a culture, there are very old enemies surrounding Israel..old enemies, but comparatively new religious fanatics.

I find it interesting that you only cite David & Solomon..could it be simply because information is more scant with them than it is with many other Hebrew kings ? How about the tombs of other Israeli Kings that have been found ?
The tombs of King Omri and Jeroboam II ..900-800 BC..unearthed in Samaria, just to name two (Biblical Archaeology Review July/Aug 2007)..There are thousands of Israeli
sites unearthed and identified as such by many different Universities. There are Egyptian writings from 1400 BC, listing the battles with the Jews.

To stand around and try to deny the occupation of the area by Jews since Abraham, is the height of arrogance..akin to the holocaust deniers..

Suire, Ishmael was the elder half brother, but God placed the inheritance upon Isaac. So often, great hatred develops when an heir sincerely believes he has been "cheated"...and that is where the current conflict between Arabs (Muslims) and Israelis sprang from about 4,000 years ago, continuing to this day !

the Bible says (Gen 16:12).. "And he will be a wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man's hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of his brethren."

How do you define which is which and where are these "Jews of the Torah" you support so strongly located today. How do I tell them from your "political zionists" Jews? I truly do not understand where you're coming from here so please help to enlighten me. Gen 16:12 needs no further "translating"..it is a VERY clear passage. look at Chapter 16..in vs 8, God addresses Hagar, vs 9..she is told to return and serve Sarah..vs 10
the angel tells Hagar that her "seed" will become a multitude..vs 11 the angel says she will bear a son , and his name is to be ISHMAEL..vs 12..the angel delivers the "wild man" verse..
Since in vs 12 the angel says his hand will be against every man & vice-versa..it seems to point out that when Ishmael's descendants have no strangers to fight, they will fight each other..sounds true to type..
The Arabs do claim Ishmael as their progenitor, do they not ?.
