My "Smileys" don't work, am I doing something wrong?

When I try to use the smileys, everything I typed before it disappears.  What am I doing wrong?

i think you have to turn off the spell ck. :) ;) ;D :o ::)

Rex is right, spell check causes problems, uncheck the Spell check as I write box below the post window, you can still use the other spell check button that's to the right of the preview button.  ;)

The autamatical spel chek on this fourum messess up evrythng so I jus dont use it, but its ok cauze I spel gooder thin mos peple. ;D
