About 90% of the time I don't even wear shoes but when I do I have no clue which I put on first and am pretty sure it's not always the same one.

i take this as tongue in cheek... it never ceases to amaze me the minutia that people dwell on.   that in mind, i think this is pretty funny. 
   i cant afford shoes anymore, i am too busy paying for fuel to heat my home.  :'(

I know what you are up to William...You are just trying to give us a needed break and/or ween us off of the Politic's for a while. ;D

I always put my left shoe on first. I am right handed and my right foot seems to be dominate also. I figure that my right foot is the (strong platform) that will support my balance better "standing or sitting" till that left shoe can be put on to offer the needed support for a greater balance.

I had never thought about it so I took them off and tried it.;D

Right feels more normal to me.
I can tell you that I don't tie ether one until they are both on my feet.

Tie a shoe? Hmm I don't recall having done that in years. I just slip them on and off without tying or untying. The only time I tie one is if the knot happens to come undone on it's own and since I do a second knot after the bow knot that's seldom. Now boots with laces are different and do require tying darn it.

Thinking more on it which is first really depends on which shoes I'm putting on. Those under the bed would usually be right first and house shoes (worn far more than street shoes) would normally be left first. My outside the house working/walking around shoes also left first due to the place/way they sit waiting on me.

Once hired a country boy that was so backwoods we had to fill his shoes full of rocks to get him used to wearin um.   :D  BTW; was one of the best employees we ever had.   :)

Well if you are talking in a line from Wichita Falls thru Ft Worth, Brownwood too Corpus Christi you are talking about the Nation of West, by God, Texas and you boys are DIFFERENT.
Yes, those ol ropers and High boys are good enough for this discussion. ----Riding heels only though.
