Will it not fire or will it not eject ? If the o-ring isn't there, it'll not eject. If the o-ring is there and the 2 medal pieces are lined up so both gaps are together ,it won't eject either.

More info,please.

Wish I could help, I know nothing about the inner workings of the 1100.

The more info you can get posted in here, the better your chances of a GB member helping you clear it up. Good luck  ;)

You would probably have better luck over at the Gunsmithing forum on this site. Hope you get it worked out. Dale

OK it fires but wont eject ill have to take apart to see if the slots are lined up .there was no oring that i saw but i did not take the magazine tube apart . should i take it apart this is my first semi shotgun so I'm learning. i ordered a speed feed stock  good deal 69.00 to my door. should be here on Friday. hope its not junk the stock that's on it wasn't cracked. but i figured i needed a but pad and they were 39 plus fitting of 35 it was cheaper and dint have to worry about cracking the wood . it dose fire 1 oz loads of 4 5 and 7 1/2 but not the light ones. it has a 28 in mod choke barrel dose any one know where i can find a 20 to 24 in smooth bore barrel . thanks for any and all info guys i need it

Autos are realllll tricky.  You HAVE to take them all the way apart when you clean them.  Forend off, all o-rings, tubes, springs, etc, need to come off, be cleaned and put back on clean and dry.  If you use a wet lubricant, it will make it stick.  Same thing with the bolt.  Now the main spring (in the stock) is something that I don't clean everytime, but pretty often, but every part in the gas system has to come off.
