starter trap gun for son and wife? new NEF trap gun?

My son and wife have been shooting trap for a while using a club gun.  They have trouble with an O/U before the end of their first box with the weight of the gun.  New England Firearms has a new trap model for their topper model of break action shot guns.  It has a 30" barrel screw in extended chokes and a great price for a starter gun.  Any opinions would be appreciated.

I have not seen one in person, but from everything I hear they are a good place to start for a beginner.  I don't know your budget but a used Browning BT99 is also a good gun to start with and could stay with the shooter for many more years. One thing you will learn is once you get into Trap shooting you go through a lot of different guns before you end up with one you really like and can shoot with.
