LAR Grizzly mods

Gentlemen:
I have wanted, and still do, to take on of my Grizzly semi-autos and rebarrel it to .450 or .475 Wildey.

Now the big problem is getting a barrel, I have all the parts to make a .455 1911, except the barrel, and ran out of money before I found some one who could. (One barrel maker could but he is now overloaded with govt. contracts for the war, and barsto, said they could but when I tried to check on progress, it seemed they were always busy.)

The question is, if any of you are familiar with the Grizzly 1911 pistol, would you do it on the mk.1 45 mag. frame (Ihave checked and the Wildey cartridges work in the magazine) or the larger .50AE frame? (The magazine might be a problem there.)

Just wondering if anyone has any ideas, particularly on where to get a barrel.
Bob

PS--I am still broke but when trying to do the .455 1911, I found out  just how much time advance work takes.
