Small presentation cannon-New York National Guard

Here's a two-foot long cannon (barrel is one foot long) that I think was made for presentation only. The spokes are painted onto the solid wheels in a "folk art" fashion. The presentor, H.L. Liebenau, was president of the "Vosburgh Veterans" of the 71st Regiment, NYNG, in the 1890's according to an 1894 New York Times article. I have no idea who the presentee, one Benjamin Robson, was, but I'd like to know.
