My son still has a S&W 5906 with adjustable sights that I'd given him some years ago. I'd purchased it new back in the early 90's. He says it still works flawlessly. Do these guns have any value in todays market?
Thanks 4/B

I saw two this morning at a local gun store. They were dirty and dinged, so I figured they were LE trade-ins. The ticket price was $399.00. They did not have adjustable sights.

My son's cost me well over $600 way back then, and I think a couple of boxes of ammo was in the deal also.

I hear ya. You think that's bad...I purchased an used S&W M36 'Chief" for $350.00. I bought a new one in the early 70's for @ $75.00 and traded it away in the 90's.
Like everything else, guns are going up and up in price. I wish I had several of mine back.
