i long ago read some fantastic claims for gp-100 accuracy. later i learned from experience that the gun rag author was right! the gp-100 could only be improved by chambering it for a little larger caliber, in my opinion.
the super redhawks in .44 mag' supposedly are very accurate. i don't own one, however, using a standard redhawk in stainless steel instead. the redhawk is the revolver i'd recommend. it's a stout-hearted piece that will even handle randy garrett's 330 gr' loads! it is better-balanced than the 'super' in my opinion; and it is less expensive. with a hogue monogrip the recoil is greatly tamed. the redhawk is a hell-raiser!

i'd recommend you buy loads/components from one of our sponsors. those will be good enough for whatever comes along, in my opinion.
the smith' in 629 Classic is a great piece, from what i've read, and the little i've done with a model 29 classic (blued). but it won't handle what a ruger will handle for the same number of rounds, etc.etc.
