1/2 inch bore.

Thank you for welcoming me.
I been in to cannons for years. I just never thought about a forum to read. My last cannon ( Looks more like a WW2 morter)  has 32 inch length and  a 2" bore. I use to start running races with that. What fun that was. I think I'll just make noise with this one. I have about 10 feet of fuse where can I buy more?
My next project is a old morter as in civil war type.

Well I'm nearly finished. I haven't fired it yet. We have very low temps and a foot of snow and a ill wife. but I will soon. I have not mounted the trunnion straps yet. I'm still thinking about the best way.  In the mean time I starting a new project a coehorn cannon / morter I found the diagram and pictures here.

Nice work! Your mortar is coming out nice, what bore size on the mortar? Golf ball?

O.k. so now the photo of the mortar is gone............ still don't know what size it was.............. :-\
Mr president I do not cling to either my gun or my Bible.... my gun is holstered on my side so I may carry my Bible and quote from it!

I finished up my Small cannon and test fired it today. I use a very small load with no wadding just for the test.
I started a Macro Cannon last night. I found this brass thingy in the basement and drilled it out more added a fuse hole.
I tested it this morning also. Now  I'm building the base for it. More to come ...
