I've seen one a couple times. They are pretty nice, nice wood and rich bluing. Dont think its worth all that extra money for some engraving on the floorplate.

Seen one? I GOT ONE!  ;D

It's really a nice looking rifle with features never before offered on the Model Seven. The nicely scultured grip cap is a truly nice touch. The recoil pad is I guess the same Simms Vibration Lab type as Remington has been hawking as their R3 but this one actually looks like it belongs unlike most of them I've seen and they do soak up recoil better than any pad I've ever seen.

Mine has real nice wood on it probably the best I've seen on a Model Seven. The barrel is 22" long rather than the more normal 20" of other standard caliber M7s if you're one who likes to get all the fps possible from a round.

It's definitely the best looking Model Seven to date. I got one of the originals shortly after it came out so it just seemed right to get the Anniversary Model to go with it. Besides I gave the original to my wife and cut the stock to fit her so this one is mine.

GB How does it shoot and what caliber did you get? Thnaks Dale

They only come in 7-08. As to how it shoots I have no clue and might not know until next month or later. I have a severe infection of my right eye and really shouldn't even be on line now and have no clue when I'll be on line again after this.

I won't be doing any shooting any time soon and haven't even bought the base/rings for this one yet. I do have a Leupold VX-III 2.5-8x36 scope I will mount on it tho.
