Walt- I see that this is a pretty old post, but I'll answer anyhow. I have one of these bows too; seems like a well-made bow but I am no expert. I tuned mine by the bare shaft method and this went pretty easily. I've only used target points so far, 125 gr. for my 50# bow @ 27" draw.
