I know what you mean by conflicting data. I have several books and it is a good thing, but it can be confusing trying to decipher what to start with. You not only have to look at load data, but twist rates too. That can have an influence on pressures. Some times they are so far away from each other that it is obvious that not every one uses the same methods to come up with their load data. I am talking about the well known big houses, not the average guy off of the Internet. I would not trust them at all. BTW the Nosler 6th edition uses a 24" Lilja 1 - 14" twist ( I think 1 - 14" is the standard rate in a 22-250) barrel and they said that the H380 was the most accurate powder tested with the 55 grainer and is with all bullets tested from 50 - 60 grains.
