« on: March 08, 2008, 08:17:26 AM »
Is there a type of  O ring that is used over just anything you can find,.. for the forearm of the Buffalo Classic? Maybe a number?

Thanks

Recommended O-ring size is listed in the FAQs and Help sticky.  ;)

Yeah, but that doesn't encourage anyone to read the FAQs, I get tired of people ignoring it after all the time that's been spent creating the FAQs and updating it, there's a ton of info in there that waaaay too many newbies and regulars don't have a clue about, all they have to do is spend a little time reading. If I had a way of doing it, I'd make it manditory reading before newbies post!  :o And it only makes sense that an FAQs which mean Frequently Asked Questions, is there to answer questions a person has. You can use control F to search the page and find anything that's listed on the page, a very useful, but unused tool at our finger tips.   You can also use the forum search to find it, and several other threads on various methods of using O rings.  ;)

Makes perfect sense.  I know alot of stuff is in there. I spent alot of time trying to find things I've read before, but couldn't find.  I'll try the control f myself.  Thanks for the info.

I've been using the "o" rings that you band cattle with.  They are about 1/8" thick and fit great and seem to free float the barrel.  You can get them at most any farm store.  They also work well on cattle, goats are tricky and can go into shock and if-in you can get one on a dog well he will be just another consultant.

I have been in the FAQ's page several times and failed to notice the big CONTROL F at the top!  This has to be one of the best tools I have ever found!  Thanks for the tip, sorry I missed it in the past.

Well,... I am wised up now. Thanks every one.

Thanks for your concern. I'm thinking about adding a .204 barrel to my Buff Classic. I'll be tripping all over myself for a few days now. I'm sure I'll ask another previously answered question. Have patience men.

On the tool bar of your browser is a 'hot button' ... and it's name is Edit.  Click on it and on the drop down are the words ... Find on This Page.  Click on it.
It is the Ctrl F function for 'dummies' ... as Windows is the dummies version of DOS!  ;D
