Encore and G-2 trigger pull
« on: June 29, 2003, 01:50:13 PM »
Those with Encores can probably answer this question (too soon for the G-2).  Can thest triggers be worked to something approximating the Contender level?  I have two Contenders that I have installed the Volkquartzen kits in and I am VERY happy with the results.  Does anyone make any similar "kits" for the Encore?  I am going to have to get one of the bigger framed guns in order to use the higher intensity cartridges that I am wanting.  Any info would be appreciated.

With the trigger removed, take a flat screwdriver and push the L of the trigger return spring forward until it stops against the frame-twiced, re-assemble and test. Simple.

thanks jeff,  it works! i tried it, put it back together and tested. i thought a little more would be better, so i took it back apart and pushed the L of the spring forward two more times. i don't have a gauge, but it feels about 2 1/2lbs. this news needs to get out more!

did you just do more of pushing the spring forward to get it that low? :D
