I just purchased a S&W 657 for deer hunting. I was looking at natchez and saw they have the Elite 3200 2-6x32 Fire Fly (black) scope on sale for 149.00. Anyone have any opinions on this scope? Thanks

I love Bushnell's they have great CS. I have only broke one and I damaged another. They sent me a replacement and it is good and I ended up looking at the one I damaged and It was just fine.

I bought one too. Optics are clear and the eye relief is constant at all powers. The only thing is the firefly reticle is pretty thick but it works in low light conditions. I would recommend this scope as it's a great scope for $149.

Bushnell has always been good to me. I bought my first scope in the early sixties, a 4x that was mounted on a BSA Monarch 30-06. The pair are still mated today, and though not used too much today, it is still dead on at 200 yards. This combination is responsible for more elk and mule deer that I can haul in the old F-250.

For most folks Bushnell is either a love or hate situation, I am in the love group. Even today, for the price they are good scopes, and I have owned some that were much better than some of the Nikon's and Leupold's I own. I think the Bushnell will do you good!

i've got a 2x6 trophy on my gp100 and i do love the sight picture. i've also got a 2x whcih also is easy to use with a good sight picture. i'd love to get a 3200 with firefly also, maybe by summertime i CAN ARRANGE TO PURCHASE ONE.dan

I've had an Elite 3200 on my 10" .454 for the past six years and it has done very well. A good scope in my opinion.

I've got a 3200 2X6 on a .45/70 BFR and it's been doing well. I'm a Leupold fan but this Bushnell has been subjected to some heavy loads and I'm impressed with it.

deerchaser, thanks for the heads up! J.D Jones has said the Bushnell Elite 3200 are great scopes, so that's enough for me! Great price too!

I presently have 8 3200's in service, to my complete satisfaction, including 1 on a .375 JDJ, and another on a 338 JDJ no. 2. I don't have 1 with the Firefly reticle, because it's way too thick to suit me. I suspect that's why they've been on sale...poor sales.

Thanks all, I hope the firefly isn't too wide. I have a Elite 4200 on my 30/06 and love it! I never had a scope on a handgun, I've always used red dots. My last hunting handgun was a Contender in 7/30 waters with a tasco red dot on top. I found this M657 for 550.00 NIB 7.5 barrel, I couldn't pass it up. Not one store in my town has 41 mag ammo, my dies are in the mail! I was thinking of a starting load of 21gr of H110 with CCI 350s for a 210 XTP.

I would take advantage of their No Questions asked warranty and get a refund. They will give it back if it isn't damaged or if it is in good shape. I like these scopes but then again I like the thick firefly because my eyes are bad.

When mine arrived ~ I almost returned it as initially I didn't know those axe handles were the 'firefly'. If I had a known, would've ask for a firegnat

The bars are thick and the crosshair portion is thickish also. I'll probably hang onto it as I know it is a good scope but . . . Why would they sell a >$300 unit for half price? Firefly isn't everyones cup of tea but is usable. Who knows, maybe it'll grow on me $:-\$

I have the firefly on my night gun for coyotes and love it. the cross hairs are thick, mine is a 1.5x4.5x40 and at 4.5 the cross hairs cover up one square inch at 100 yards. would not sell mine for anything other than another firefly. try it ,see if you like it, and before the year is up on the no questions warranty if not happy send it back.

Its great for quick shots. Its the best scope on the market IMO.

I got one coming from Nachez and hope I made a good decision. I will be putting mine on a 218 Bee TC barrel. If it turns out to be so great I may buy another. Ya can't squawk about the price, that is for sure.

had one on a 300wsm worked great then the focus went out
sent it back to bushnell got a replacement at no cost to me
except the wait time to get it.

I have the same 2-6 x 32, very clear. Glad I got it.
