Handi Rifle = great value

Handi rifles are great values but then I ain't telling the members here anything new.I was just perusing Gunbroker.com which I do periodically and went to the single shot section and searched for 45-70.In my mind I am comparing what I see there and the prices they want for them against my Handi rifle and what I paid for it versus how accurate it is.
Bear in Mind I also have a Marlin 1895 in 45-70 which I don't like one bit better than my 45-70 Handi. When you consider value the Handi is the absolute best thing going in this caliber.I limit this to discussion of this caliber only because I have had some Handis in other calibers that were not worth throwing in the lake.Just go to one of the auction sites sometime and browse awhile. It'll make you appreciate what you have a wee bit more.

The .45-70 was my first Handi, and it sold me on them. I haven't had any "lake chuckers" yet. If you get any more, save the frame and stock for me!!

Glad you like them...and...if you decide to chuck the Marlin 1895 in the lake...give me a holler first...While the Handi may be the best value for a single shot..the Marlin holds that honor for the lever guns...

Mac,The Marlin is a terrific shooter and very accurate.Don't think it'll go anywhere soon barring the unforseen.
I find the Handi every bit as accurate as the Buffalo Classic.I'm sure some might dispute this but just my experience.
