I have a Mossberg 702 plinkster that i have had for 5 or 6 years. I like the rifle because it was cheap and very accurate. I hate that it misfires so much. I use it for plinking at the range and small animals and try to clean it as best as i can after each use. I can only clean the barrel and everything that I can see when the action is open. Does anyone know how how to disassemble this rifle for more thorough cleaning? It used to misfire 1 or 2 shells per magazine, then someone told me to use Silicone based Rem oil now it misfires maybe 1 out of every two magazines. It misfires Federal, Winchester, CCI, Remington, etc. My dad has a older Marlin 60 that he leaves at the shop and almost never cleans it but I don't ever remember it misfiring! Should I just trade it in for a Marlin???
