There's a difference between a Winchester .30-30 (a rifle), and a .30-30 Winchester (a cartridge).   ;)

My "point" is that Winchester .30-30's, your topic, were made from 1894 to 2006 - answering your question: "No such thing as  Winchester .30-30 ?".

If you were referring to the .30-30 cartridge, that would be about the same story, as per your link.

"30 WINCHESTER SMOKELESS, .30 WINCHESTER, .30 W.C.F., .30-6-100, .30 Marlin,
.30-30 MARLIN SMOKELESS, .30-30 S., .30-30 W.C.F., .30-30 Win., .30 American (Federal case, small primer), DWM 543 (Germany), 7.62x51R (Europe)."

So I guess I don't get your point either.

Hey, I wasn't looking for an arguement - I was trying to expand the discussion by pointing out that there's a difference in what was said/posted & what was apparently meant.

What teed me off was the "attitude", I got from S.B. instead : "[And your point is?]"

So, enjoy away - I'm done.

;D Rangr44, I think your wells a little too deep for us plain, common folk. Regards, Byron
