Well I paid 235 for my 25-06 Handi at Bass Pro. You said savage so dont know if this will help you out

Here are four dealers, Bud's and Whittaker first, then RR and TGS, I've dealt with all but Bud's, TGS and RR are a bit slow to ship, Whittaker is excellent, dunno about Bud's, but his prices aren't bad and he shows shipped prices for in stock inventory.
