Anybody else hit by the Tornados last night?
« on: March 16, 2008, 03:35:38 AM »
We had about three touch down in my area with an approaching cold front.  Trees down all over the road, knocked out power since last night,  luckily I have a generator.  It runs about everything except the pump.  No damage other than trees.  I hope no one else was affected.

Our weather radio went on the blink it seems so we failed to get a warning but one touched down fairly close to us from what my oldest son said when he called to check on us yesterday. From what he said it must have been within 5-8 miles or less from us. We didn't even have high winds from it here however but did have some really high winds later in the day.

Last night things were fairly calm here but not so during the day. I heard Atlanta got hit by that same front that came thru here.
