Hey guys anyone shoot one of these ???????????Whats the recoil like?Can you down load it?
The gun I can get for a real good price is the thumbhole camo version.

I don't have one, but the Ruger I once shot was pretty brutal with modern factory ammo.  Huge cases like the .416 usually don't download well, the low loading density risks pressure excursions.  The mildest reputable load I can find is with a 350 cast bullet and AA5744 at 1912 fps.  That's still over 2800 fpe for a starting load.  I imagine that the good price is due to the current owner's discomfort with the factory recoil....

We had a member here who had one, and he put a mercury recoil damper in the stock.  He said recoil wasn't bad, but he liked making big holes in things.  It makes me flinch just thinking about it.

I have one in a 26" ported barrel That I bought in Cabelas haven't shot it yet. The person you are refering to is Redhawk.
