I have had two savage rifle with the adjustable muzzlebrake and both rifles did not shoot well at all. /If you turned the brake off they both would shoot somewhat better. The thing that bothers me is when the brake is on the whole thing can turn and is loose. I sent both rifles back to savage and they sent them back with a target that was pretty good but they shot them with the muzzle brake off. I love all my savage rifles but would like one with the muzzlebrake in 338 win for bear hunting. Anyone else had problems with them or is it all in my head.
