Anyone used the Choate folding stock on their Encore?  wondering how they feel... cheap? uncomfortable?

Not on an Encore, but I just sold mine for a Contender.   They are solidly built, so I wouldn't call their feel cheap necessarily.   It is a more a mechanical than a comfortable feel, especially with the grip.   The butt stock is solid rubber like material, the grip hollow plastic.   It probably wouldn't be too noisy in the field if it weren't for the hokey sling attachments banging around.    I could tolerate the Choate to gain its portability in a back pack probably.    But I'm not a fan of synthetic stocks/grips on any firearm (*) and never took a shine to the Choate after it arrived (bought unseen on-line).

(*) I do like the Pachy grips/forends on my Contenders.

Don't know if this helps, but it's one opinion.

One species has evolved into obese cranial fatheads with thin skin in comparison that whines about anything and everything as their shield against their environment. Meus
