I am looking at getting a hi point .40 pistol and was wondering if anyone who has experience with them can recommend a holster to protect it and carry in the field? Thank you

Thank you for the info. It looks like a promising place to go if and when I get the gun. :)

Check out http://www.soft-armor.com/ I have several of there holsters.  I like the off duty models with extra mag pouch.  The #16 fits the C9 not sure about the 40.

Are the external dimensions of the .40 the same as the 9mm?  If so Fobus makes a holster:

Haven't used them for a Hi Point but have for other guns and they work pretty decent.

PS Fireandice your link appears to be dead.  Holsterworld.com goes to a reserved domain.

The c9 is smaller the 40 and the 45 are similar in size.
