Thanks for kind words. I set up at and worked my tables at the St. Louis International Cartridge Show from Wed thru Sat. I collect, buy and sell collectible cartridges, usually 0.50 and up, especially cannon stuff of course. I found a couple of neat items for the collection, and got rid of a good bit of stuff. I have slideshows put together of the cartridge show exhibits if anyone wants to look, but really is O/T for this board. Then drove to Pulaski VA to get the zinc from Tim and Ms. K, and saw Tim's assortment of m/l mortars, protected by two sizeable cats. I then drove to Lexington VA to discuss some things with a historian in town, and museum staff at VMI. I photographed most of the cannons at VMI, which I hadn't seen since digital cameras came out (I can make the pix avail here if anyone wants.) Now I'm home again after a solid week away and about $500. in diesel fuel.
