Bullets for the 22-250
« on: March 23, 2008, 07:20:44 AM »
What is the heaviest bullet that will shoot accurately in the 22-250 Ultra?  I am wanting to shoot bullets in the 65 and 70 gr range.  With a 1:14 twist I don't think the Ultra would work for me.  Am I correct?

What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.

60gr is probably the limit unless maybe the 63gr Sierra Varminter #1370 or 64gr Win PP will work, they both work in the 1:12" 223 barrels, so they may work at 22-250 velocities in a 1:14", guess you'll just have to try em and let us know Rog!!  ;D
