how many rhino did J A Hunter shoot from augast 1944 to october 1946 in this time he was game worden for the kenya game department.

Quick web search says over 1000 in one year, but did not confirm if it was this year.

efremtags one of my best friends was born in kenya in 1949 his father was a  land reclamation  officer for the kenyan government and was a good friend of john hunter these are the actual animals shot by john hunter in that  time frame,these are from my friends dads old work documents that john hunter would hand in to him and be coppied in to the log book he said that john hunter hated killing all those animals just so the land could be used for farms, but that was his job and those where his orders.the actual number of rhino shot was 996 in that time frame two years.this pic of john hunter was taken in 1960.
