Congrats on the new gun and the fun you are having with it. I also have a new 204. I haven't shot it yet! Maybe next weekend I'll sight it in if it ever quits snowing and dries up around here. In the meantime-enjoy yours

Way to go. Always feels good to get a first kill with a new gun.
I have one with the same ammo sighted in at 1" high at 100 and held dead on at 300 for my first fox kill.

mine did not like the 40 grn hornady bullets, does anyone have good results shooting 40 grn vmax out of there h&r

Mine shoots the 40gr Vmax real good with a near max load of BL-C2 using Hodgdon data.

yup same here 40 grain V-max and a max load of BL-c2 bug whole groups

Mine shot the 40's good as well, but it shot the 39 seirra's much better

i never got to trry the seirra's i had a few 1000 of the hornady so i naver ran out but some day i will . it looks like a better bullet and i hear a lot of good reports

mine wouldn't even hit the target at 50yrds I'm going to start reloading one of these days So u guys can help me out with suggestions

39gr BK's Mine key holed the target at 25 yd would not even hit paper at 50 yds Went to 32 gr Nosler Ballistic tips.
They work.
