hammer extension

hi guys, i have a survivor 223 with a hammer extension. i just got a sportster 17 that does not. the sportster seems to fire smoother. do you think the extension could cause this.

Short answer is; no. Not real sure but it sounds like a trigger pull difference - that has nothing to do with a hammer spur.
