What are you getting for the extra money? Are the Bushnell yardage pro 450's any good? any input would be appreciated

On a coyote you cannot get quite 1/2 the range the range finder is rated at. ie. a 400 yrd. range finder will get you almost 200 yrds. an 800 not quite 400 yrds. Deer will go about 1/2 rating. You can range larger things close to your target though. It really depends on what your using it for, but you get what you pay for with range finders.

I've been playing with a friend's Bushnell yardage pro 450 which is their cheapest model. when ranging my neighbors garage(brown) & his garage (white) which are side by side & the same distance I'm getting a 6 yard variance. also an unpainted section of the garage gives no reading at all.

I have had a bushnell elite 1500 for about a year and half now. I like it. I have ranged p dogs out to 300 yds. My friends have nikon and leica and my bushy ranges rite with them.
