It is indeed a sad day.  My Heston was an ardent supporter of the 2nd Amendment at a time when media and screen actors were and are extremely anti gun.  He was a sane proponent and argued effectively against emotional tirades from talk show hosts and news interviewers.  His leadership in the Actors Guild prevented some others from outspoken opposition to firearms ownership.  His personal ethics, long time marriage, and professional attitude in life is an example we all could follow. 
Greg lost his battle with cancer last week on April 2nd 2009. RIP Greg. We miss you.
