Prayers needed for my wife and grandfather
« on: October 27, 2008, 07:29:40 AM »
Hello Everyone

A couple days ago my wife was playing with our children outside when she stepped in a hole and tore all the ligaments loose from the lower side of her knee. She is going in today for an MRI and may end up having reconstructive surgery. I unfortunately am back at work 300 miles away from home and cannot get home due to still having to pay the bills. She is staying with her parents so is in good hands. I would appreciate your prayers for her recovery.

Where do I start with my grandfather? He is a WW2 veteran, a lifelong mechanic, hes had 3 heart attacks, triple bypass surgery, been diagnosed with a supposedly incurable form of bone cancer. He was given 6 months to live 6 years ago. The cancer went into complete remission after 1 year. He has recently lost one leg due to diabetes, and now is facing loosing his other leg soon. He is a religious man but im not sure of his salvation. He has always spoken the word and lived by the Bible but whenever i bring up the subject he changes it. I have more respect for this man than any other I know and am concerned. Im asking for prayer to guide both He and I and strength for him to once again face his challenges with the courage I have always admired. If it is God's will for this to be his time, I understand.
