Are Bushnell holo sight strong enough for a 44 mag? Do they hold up in the weather?

I have had one on a 454 RB for 6 years with No problem.
It works great with both eyes open.

Got one on my encore and it hasn't whimpered yet!
Great reticle, fast target acquisition and easy on the eyes. Just have to watch that battery switch......I bumped mine somehow and turned it on as I was putting it up. Didn't notice it until I was getting ready to run out the door the next hunt day. Had to switch barrels real quick! I keep a spare set of batts in my coveralls now.....lessons learned........

For those of you that may be interested:

There is a brand new Holo Sight on Ebay. It is currently at only $199.00. Sounds like a steal. (no it's not mine or anyone that I know)

I had one but kept chasing the dot trying to keep it zeroed.
I ended up selling it off, but may be I just had a bad unit...
