I was wondering if any one knows which Sims vibration labs recoil pad would fit on my older tang saftey m77 mark2 30-06? it still has the factory hard red rubber recoil pad on  it at want to get a sims pad, and was wondering if any body new a part #and where they got theres at? thanks for the info. sorry the pre fit kind not slip on kind

I don't know which Sims pad would work, but would like to remind you that Ruger did not make a Mark II with a tang safety.  The Mark II's safety was along side the action and had a Mauser type ejector instead of the plunger type found on the tang safety models.  Most people refer to the tang safety Rugers as the Mark I, even though it really had no designation as such.
