GPR is going again!

Got the new RMC Liner today for my lyman great plains. Helped big time!  I ran into a problem with my frizzen not being hardened correctly so i will have to get that fixed soon.

Seemed to have more kick to it after i installed the RMC liner, Anyone notice this change? I was only shooting 80 grains ffg goex and a .530 round ball. I usually shoot 110 ffg and barely notice the recoil.

Also bought one for my traditions kentucky just to see how it would do. It fit really tight into the bushing so i think i may have to just clean it up a bit with some sand paper.

Are you certain you have the correct thread for the Traditions? Some metric and SAE threads are very similar but not quite interchangeable. You sure don't want to blow out a liner.

Traditions uses a 10-32mm thread while the lyman uses a .6-75 Something weird like that.

Tested out the traditions and was very happy with the results from the new liner. Instant ignition but it still required half a pan of 4f to set the main charge off. I think i will use my dremmel and deepen the pan so the powder sits down lower.
