#1 hunter,
Sorry, I'm from central NY and I pass through the Rt 81 NE corridor occasionally, that's all.  You might want to check out a local Wal-Mart or Dick's Sporting for something in .270 bolt action.  It might be a bit more than $325.00 but there's always lay-a-ways.  I think highly of the Savage m110.  I've had pretty good luck browsing the gun auctions on line in the past.  If nothing else, it will give you a better idea about going prices when you visit the gun shops.  Good Luck.

I used to live in Bradford Co.  Try Fulmers on Rt 6 in Wysox(east of Towanda).  Keeps good clean used fire arms and you can work with him on Price.  270Win is very nice but based on availability at any particular time you might also consider 25-06, 280, 7 mm 08, 260 etc.   You can get a good Savage new brought in for a reaonable price if your caliber specific.  Good luck

#1 hunter,
As I previously mentioned, check out Auction Arms for a good .270 Savage 110.  Example below:

The #1 hunter,

If you haven't already bought a gun I would suggest you check out "Montrose Sporting Goods" in Montrose, Pa.  I have been doing business with them for years even though I live in NY state.   They are good people to deal with.  Their phone # is 570-278-3154.
Good Shooting,
George

You might want to check out D N R Sports Center. You can look them up at www.dnrsports.com. I have purchased most of my guns from thier Bloomsburg location and have always been satisfied. Just to give you an idea on thier prices, I just ordered a T/C G2 Contender w/ a 14" blue 223 barrel for $436.
