abbreviations in posts
« on: March 31, 2008, 03:08:25 PM »
I have checked the FAQs and I am sure this isn't the correct place to post this question but I don't know where it should be!
In many of the post I see the abbreviation BTT with nothing else. I know what SPF & PM stand for but what about the other ones. This was the only one I can think of right now.

If someone is wanting something noticed, say an item for sale, they bump it to the top.

using plain english. ::)

BTT or Back to the top either way, it is considered good manners to all that post to not use these replies until your add is on the 2nd or 3rd page. If it is still available and has moved to the 2nd page it is acceptable for the original poster to request that it go BTT so that people can see the add more readily, and know that it is still available for purchase. Everybody on this forum has been very polite and considerate as I have sold out. It's nice to have friends even if they are "on line" - JMHO (Just my humble opinion) - F50 aka Gary

I have discovered that if you just say"hello" it does the same thing as BTT or TTT and every one
understands "hello" and it is more congenial, unless of course you are into codes or slang. ;D
