Anyone bought a new Sportster lately?
« on: March 07, 2008, 01:45:57 PM »
I was wondering if the Sportsters still had ejectors in them or if NEF had switched them to extractors like
the Handi Rifles.

Thanks,

I'm hoping they haven't switched over to extractors on the Rimfires as I'm thinking about buying one.

That's good news, hopefully they won't change the rimfires.

I checked on Sports South's website and they don't have any .22 LR Sportsters
right now in stock. I also emailed H&R and they said they won't be shipping any out until the end of April
early May.

I recently traded my Ruger 10/22 for a compound bow with a friend of mine so I'm without a .22 right now. I'd like to get
a Sportster but I'm not interested if they have extractors.

so I'm without a .22 right now.

Now that is just plain Un-American!  ;D  How can a shooter not have at least 1 .22 in his/her collection at any point in time?  :D

I know, it's terrible isn't it? I do have my trusty .22 Magnum NAA Mini-Revolver, though.

I'm not completely without a .22 lr. My 9 year old daughter lets me use her .22 lr Versa Pack whenever I want.
