« on: April 04, 2008, 11:05:16 AM »
I took a walk up to my field about an hour ago and shot this male at around 100 yards, I had a perfect head shot directly in the ear with the 33 grain v-max, he never new what hit him.

Yup!! Good shootin. I have the Sportster in 22 mag.  I put a Simmons 3-9 50mm scope on it and I must say (Being a T\C fan) that this is one very accurate little shooter. I believe I took about 9 G-hogs with it last year, and I shot my first with it this year. I use this Sportster fo the in-close, around the houses "extermination" as the report for the 22 mag is much better than my "usual" T\C .223 40 grain Nosler BT's.

I've also whacked some crows with this at some respectable yardages (50 to 60).

This is one little shooter that has found a home in my gun safe.
