help with a henry
« on: May 28, 2008, 01:36:38 PM »
I'm disassembling a Henry big boy in 44 mag so I can send the receiver to an engraver. Last thing to remove is the barrel. I can see it is threaded onto the receiver but my question is standard thread or reverse thread? Any body taken one apart before? any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I've got one, but can't tell you if it's right or left threads. Before you do anything you shouldn't, I would call Henry and ask them. They are real good people there and will be glad to help you.

Thanks. Ill will make a note of this in the FAQ.
The sportsman lives his life vicariously. For he secretly yearns to have lived before, in a simpler time. A time when his love for the land, water, fish and wildlife would be more than just part of his life. It would be his state of mind
